London – 04 October 2021: London Biggin Hill Airport has appointed Arfaan Pinjara to the newly created position of airport security manager.

Pinjara brings more than a decade of security experience to London Biggin Hill, having worked at Heathrow Airport across aviation security, terminal and baggage operations, as well as project management in Heathrow’s expansion team. Prior to this position, Pinjara was operations manager at Amazon, supervising management, control, organisation, and direction of a key delivery station.

In his role, Pinjara will oversee the implementation of security protocols, and ensure the safety of all the airport’s clients, staff, and visitors. He will work within the security team and report to operations director, Bob Graham.
