London Biggin Hill Airport is passionate about being a good neighbour to both our local communities and wider society. Part of this commitment is expressed through our support for charities, where we offer three tiers of support.
Corporate Charity Partners
We work with three corporate charity partners to provide reliable and dependable long-term funding. We aim to be influential supporters for these charities and provide support in a number of ways, including:
- Fundraising through events, such as our Sunrise Challenge
- Providing auctions items for charity fundraising events
- Attendance at fundraising events
- Profile raising
- Further support as and where it is possible
Our current corporate charity partners are:
Local Partners
We work with a number of local charities and organisations to provide strategic support for initiatives that strongly resonate with the airport’s own ambitions with regards to inclusion and creating opportunities.
This commitment aims to provide the time and security for such projects to grow, thrive and make an impact locally.
Our current local partners are:
RAF Biggin Hill Museum & Chapel
Bromley Football Club Community Trust (Women & Girls' Strategy)
Bromley Rugby Club (Women & Girls' Section)
Individual Charity and Community Contributions
Local charities and organisations can apply for grants that are available via our Community Fund. This fund supports projects in areas affected by the airport and its business, and enables us to give back to the local community.
Since 2015, we’ve donated over £100,000 to a variety of local community projects.
