Before we set our environmental goals, we need to measure our existing impact. To help us do this, and ensure we have an audit trail that is independently verified, we have signed up to the Airports Carbon Accreditation scheme. Created in 2009, the scheme supports airports around the world to reach the ultimate goal of achieving carbon neutrality.
Here at London Biggin Hill, our goal is to be carbon neutral by 2029.
