Bromley – 21 July 2026: London Biggin Hill Airport has extended its support for Bromley FC Women’s team. The newly announced sponsorship package ensures the team will continue to receive the backing of the local airport until at least 2029.

The new sponsorship agreement follows a successful two years of London Biggin Hill Airport partnering with Bromley FC Women, which culminated this season in the team’s promotion to the Premier Division of the London & South East Regional Women’s Football League and in breaking their record for supporter attendance, with more than 1,000 supporters watching the match against AFC Greenwich Borough on International Women’s Day.

David Winstanley, Chief Executive Officer, London Biggin Hill Airport commented: “London Biggin Hill Airport is proud to support Bromley FC Women’s team. There is a tremendous synergy between business and team sports; both need teamwork, resilience, determination and creativity. It’s imperative that, as a leading Bromley business, we do our best to forge and encourage those characteristics. The entire team at Bromley FC are a great example of how that can be achieved.”

Andrea Ellis, Head of Programmes, Bromley FC Community Trust added: “We are incredibly grateful for the long-term support of London Biggin Hill Airport. It is fantastic to work with partners who share our ethos for investing in women, removing barriers and fostering opportunities. Working together, I have absolute confidence the team can go on to further fantastic achievements over the next three years.”

In addition to its sponsorship of the Bromley FC Women’s Team, London Biggin Hill Airport is also the lead partner of the Bromley FC Community Trust Women & Girls’ strategy, which encourages women of all ages to participate in football. During the airport’s tenure as lead partner, the strategy has seen the number of active participants in its programmes double.

The sponsorship of Bromley FC Women sits within London Biggin Hill Airport’s wider community outreach work, which spans work with Bromley Rugby Club, the Churchill Theatre and numerous other local charities and organisations. In addition, the airport works with local schools and young people, offering visits, attending careers events and running two Futures Week events each year.
